Dr. Elizabeth, or Dr. E as she is called around the office, knew she wanted to become a chiropractor since she was in the seventh grade. Her class took a day to shadow a profession of their choosing, Dr. E chose to shadow her chiropractor. After that day she knew what career she wanted to pursue, a career where she could help the mind, body, and spirit without using medication.

Dr. E received her bachelor’s in Nutritional Science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (GO HUSKERS!). She then came to Kansas City at received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College. Right after graduation she did a six month residency to learn the Blair Technique. The Blair Technique allows her to help her patients that suffer from headaches, migraines, facial sensations, and many other symptoms.

“I love being able to help people without the use of medications. Seeing someone being able to move easier and with less symptoms brings a smile to my face!”

Fun Fact about Dr. E…she can’t roll her R’s

Angelique’s passion to help people is what inspired her to seek a career path in massage therapy. “I’ve always had a desire to care for and help others. The ability to be able to do just that, help people live a better life, with my hands, is an amazing experience!”

Knowing that clients look forward to their appointments with her because they know how much better they will feel afterward is her favorite part of her job.

Hailey was first introduced to chiropractic care her senior year of high school, when she interned at a local clinic in San Antonio, Texas. She loved the fact that chiropractic care treats patients naturally, and without the use of medications.

After high school, Hailey moved back to the Kansas City area to attend the University of Kansas.  In 2019 she received her B.A. in Psychology.  Hailey decided to continue her education while working full time, and in March 2021, she received her Master’s in Psychology from Capella University.

Ivan Panic is one of our talented massage therapists.  He completed his massage training at Wellspring School of Allied Health, a premier school in KC area and one of the leading schools nationwide.  Before massage, he obtained a Master’s degree and has done Ph.D. coursework, as well as spent over 20 years in the corporate IT world.

When Ivan was asked why he felt the need to change his career path, he replied “Massage has always been my gift, as an 8-yr old I discovered my gift of touch while working on my parents who had had a variety of physical issues, and since that moment, I have thoroughly enjoyed making people feel better.  For the longest time, massage was pretty much a hobby, and after several decades in the academic and corporate world I finally decided that it was my true calling.  The decision to switch careers was a rewarding one!  Now I often say that I don’t go to work anymore, I simply do what I love!  I consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to do massage for a living.”

He says what he loves most about his job is working with people who come to him in pain and be able to work with their bodies to alleviate or eliminate that pain. He feels as though this is one of the most satisfying things he’s accomplished in life. He enjoys building a relationship with his clients and educating them on how their bodies work in order to live a pain-free life.

In his spare time, he enjoys training for and participating in extreme endurance events–Ironman triathlons, ultra-marathons, ultra-distance swim competitions–as well as various creative endeavors like woodworking and painting.
